REDUX
by Eric Munter
Have you ever done something that was subpar? How do you make up for it? You can’t go back in time and correct it. You can only learn from it – and either chose to grow or wither.
That is what happened with a recent blog I wrote. I had an idea that did not pan out. In all honesty, it sucked. How do you deal with this? How do you deal with disappointment? You move on. You learn. You improve. You vow not to let your team, your readers and, most importantly, yourself down.
At the end of the day, the person that should be your biggest critic is you – and I am extremely disappointed in me for having not put forth my greatest effort into my work.
I strive to live up to my heightened (and at times, incredibly lofty) expectations, and when I fail to live up to even them, I embarrass myself and worse, those which I wish to be associated with.
My greatest and most sincere apologies.
